1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using A1 OS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

A1 OS is an operating system for commercial subcontracting businesses, accessed via web browser. It provides tools for pricing work, allocating labour, managing projects, tracking applications and invoices, and monitoring cash position. The service is accessed via a web browser.

3. Eligibility

A1 OS is intended for use by commercial contracting businesses. By registering, you confirm you are authorised to act on behalf of your company.

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login with unauthorised users. Each company workspace is separate — your data is not shared with other companies on the platform.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use A1 OS for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to access another company's data
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications

6. AI assistance

A1 OS uses AI to assist with tasks. AI-generated content is draft-only and must be reviewed by a human before being sent externally. A1 OS does not autonomously send emails, issue quotes or invoices, make payments, place orders, or commit your company contractually. All such actions require your explicit approval.

7. Your data

You own your data. You may export your data at any time. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.

8. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from service downtime, data loss, or technical failures beyond our control.

9. Pricing and payment

Pricing for A1 OS is available following qualification. Founding Director programme terms are discussed directly with the founding team.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days written notice. We may terminate or suspend access if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

11. Limitation of liability

A1 OS is provided on a best-efforts basis. Specific liability terms are documented in the commercial agreement between A1 OS and each customer.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
