1. Who we are

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service:

Account email and name (for login and identification)
Company information you enter (projects, quotes, labour, invoices)
Usage data (which features are used, to improve the product)

3. How we use your data

Your data is used only to provide the A1 OS service to your company. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or where you have explicitly authorised it.

4. Data separation

Each company using A1 OS has a separate workspace. Your company data is not visible to other companies using the platform. Company A cannot see Company B's projects, rates, labour, quotes, invoices or files.

5. Data storage and security

Data is stored on cloud infrastructure. Security measures are being documented. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and is logged. We use encryption in transit (TLS). Details of encryption at rest are UNAVAILABLE pending infrastructure verification. We do not store payment card details.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal/contractual obligations)
Request export of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing

A1 OS uses AI to assist with tasks such as drafting quotes, summarising emails and generating reports. AI-generated content is always reviewed by a human before being sent externally. AI does not make autonomous financial decisions, send communications, or commit your company contractually.
